My Continental Contact LX Sports are looking rough at just 23k miles! I've heard mixed reviews about their lifespan. Some say 25k, others claim 40-45k. What kind of mileage did you all get out of yours? And if you've replaced them, what did you switch to and how do you like them?

I've had 40k on mine. Changed to Goodyear Eagle Sports and so far the tread wear is really good. It performs great as well.

I got around 30,000 miles on my OEM Continentals before needing a change, but I’ve also heard the same mixed reviews. It seems like 25,000 miles is pretty typical, while some folks stretch it to 40,000. I switched to Yokohamas for my third set, but they’re killing my range, so I'm planning to go back to Continentals. If you do plan replace yours, I'd recommend looking into Michelin or Pirelli,

I had the same tires on my Model X. they barely made it to 26k miles before the wear was too noticeable. Honestly, I wasn’t impressed with their lifespan either. I ended up switching to Michelin Defender LTX M/S, and they’ve been fantastic so far, great grip, much quieter ride, and they seem to be holding up better over time. The treadwear rating is higher too, so I’m hoping to get at least 40k miles out of them. Definitely worth considering if you’re looking for something durable with solid performance.

That sucks! I've heard mixed things about those tires too. Some people get 25k miles, others get like 40k. I got around 30k out of mine. I switched to Michelin CrossClimate2s, and they're pretty good in all kinds of weather.

You could also check out Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 or Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season 6.
