Anyone else driving solo or with just one passenger frustrated by the air blasting from the rear armrest vents? I get it, they're probably meant to even out the temperature, but for years I've been looking for a better solution. My current hack involves redirecting the air upwards, but it feels a bit...duct-taped together (pun intended). Hahaha! Thinking there's gotta be a better way to keep cool (or warm) up front without turning the back seat into a wind tunnel. Any ideas?

AFAIK, the Model X is supposed to sense rear passengers and adjust airflow accordingly. However, it seems like the 2ndrow vents behind the front passenger armrest might be blowing constantly, even when there's nobody back there.

I’ve had that issue too, especially in my Model 3. The rear vents can blast air when I’m driving solo, and it gets pretty annoying. I totally get the need for even temperature, but it can feel like a wind tunnel back there. Redirecting the air upwards is a clever hack, but I feel you on wanting a better solution. Maybe we need a DIY project for some kind of vent cover to keep it more balanced.

Those rear armrest vents can be a bit much when you’re driving solo or with just one passenger. It’s annoying that they blast air while the front vents feel off. Redirecting the air sounds clever, even if it feels a bit makeshift. Maybe we should brainstorm better solutions together to keep the front comfortable without turning the back into a wind tunnel. Any one with other smart hacks out there?
