Man, I’m in a bit of a crisis here - I’ve misplaced my Model X’s key fob and my anxiety is reaching new heights! I’ve turned the place upside down searching for it with no success. I’m leaning toward just ordering a new one. Does anyone have a clue if I need to drag my car over to the SC to sort this out?

Just use your key card to get into the car without the lost fob, then order a new fob from Tesla. When it arrives, use the key card again to add the new fob to your car's key list.

You can remove the old FOB and add the new one with a key card. I’d order now so the replacement arrives sooner.

I get how stressful it is to lose your key fob! You can use your key card to remove it and order a new one from Tesla's website, you might not need the service center.

The Model X doesn't come with a keycard, and Key fobs can only be programmed by Tesla service, so definitely, you might need to schedule an appointment for that.
