Anyone else had an accident like this? My Model X got a flat tire on a road trip, and then the battery magically died. Tesla says it's a bad HV pack, but I'm not buying it. It seems too coincidental. Has anyone heard of something like this happening? Should I be worried about my new Plaid order?

Uhmmmm based on the symptoms you're describing I would have thought the 12V battery was the issue instead of the HV battery.

I haven’t heard of a flat causing a battery issue directly, but it could be a coincidence. I'd suggest getting a second opinion on the battery, especially before your Plaid arrives, or has it arrived???

It's unlikely that the 2 issues are related. Unless, of course, you hit something that damaged both the tire and the high-voltage battery or its cables.
