Just finished installing a Gen 2 Wall Connector for my cousin's new Model X. I was all hyped about those 45 mph charge speeds, but I'm confused. It's a 60A setup with 6awg wire. What's the actual charging speed supposed to be? Anyone with a Model X on a 60A setup, please share your experience!

So typically with a 60A setup, you should get around 48 amps of charging, which translates to about 11.5 kW. I installed a similar setup for my own Model Y, and it charged at about 44 mph, so you should be in a good range.

I completely agree! With a 60A setup, you should definitely see around 48 amps, translating to about 11.5 kW. Sounds like a solid setup.

I have to disagree on that one. With a 60A setup, you’d typically expect a bit more than 48 amps of charging, especially if you're using a Level 2 charger. Charging speed can vary based on several factors, so I think it’s worth double-checking those numbers. My experience has shown different results.
