Thinking about joining the Model X club! Any long-term owners out there? What's the deal with reliability? I wanna hear about any issues you've had, good or bad. I'm trying to decide if it's a solid investment for the long haul.

I've had my 2017 Tesla Model X for 7 years and just finished paying it off. It now has 161k miles. I guess it's reliable? lol

Check out Bjorn Nyland’s YouTube videos ,he’s got a whole series on older Teslas.

Welcome to the Model X club—it's a fun ride! While I've had a few hiccups, overall, it’s been a solid investment; just be ready for some occasional quirks.

Wow, that’s impressive! I’ve had my Model X for some time too, and I’ve hit about 120k miles. It’s been pretty reliable for me too, definitely a testament to Tesla's engineering!

High-mileage Model Xs can be surprisingly reliable, but like any car, they have their quirks. The drivetrain and battery are typically robust, with minimal range degradation, Tesla’s battery tech is pretty advanced. Be prepared for potential issues with air suspension, door sensors, or MCU screen wear (yellowing borders). A thorough inspection is key when buying used.
