Model X or Model Y Help Me Decide

I’m looking to buy my first Tesla and trying to decide between a 2020 Model X Performance and a new Model Y Performance. I’m test driving the Model X tomorrow and hoping to check out the Model Y later this week. I’d love some input to help me make the right choice!

Here’s where I’m at:

• I love the extra space, speed, and cool gull-wing doors on the Model X. It also looks great and fits my needs better for cargo. But since it’s a 2020, I’m wondering how it’ll hold up with tech updates compared to the new Model Y.
• The Model Y has all the latest tech and better FSD potential, but I’m not as crazy about the look or the smaller size.
• For the Model X, I’ll check if it has HW3 or HW4, MCU2, and the latest software version.

Anything else I should look for? If you’ve driven both, which one do you think is the better pick?

I am more into newer models. As you said, since it is 2020, you will never know how it will keep up with the tech updates. Companies tend to "take care" of newer models on this part. In this case, Model Y is the winner.
