There's screen bubbles on my 2016 Model X. Mine is out of warranty, but the bubbles are definitely a manufacturing defect, not wear and tear. Has anyone managed to get Tesla to replace the screen after the warranty expired?

I haven't heard of anyone getting a screen replaced after the warranty expired, but you should try contacting Tesla support to explain your situation. Sometimes they might make an exception for manufacturing defects, even if you’re out of warranty.

I’m not so sure that will work. I haven’t heard of anyone getting a screen replaced after the warranty expired, but contacting Tesla support is worth a shot. They might make an exception for manufacturing defects, but it seems unlikely.

Yeah sometimes Tesla can surprise you with exceptions for manufacturing defects. It’s definitely better to reach out and see what they say.
