Why don't all Teslas come with a power frunk?

Every time I'm at the grocery store, I hardly ever see folks using their frunk. Maybe coz they gotta slam it shut themselves and don't wanna bother? It's nuts that Teslas made frunks cool but they don't even auto-open or close. Seriously, people gotta fork out for some aftermarket thing just to sort that out!

Yeah, it’s crazy how underused the frunk is! I think a lot of people avoid it because, like you said, they have to manually slam it shut. It’s wild that Teslas made the frunk a thing, what a waste in my opinion.

Right? The frunk is like the unsung hero of Teslas! It’s cool until you realize you’re doing all the heavy lifting, literally!

Before now, I hardly used my frunk because I was worried about damaging it when closing. One time I tried loading groceries in there, and after fumbling with the lid, I swore never again! It’s a neat idea, but yeah, that manual close makes it feel like more trouble than it’s worth.

I can relate! I was hesitant to use my frunk too, worried about damaging it. After a few awkward attempts, I decided to stick with the trunk, definitely less hassle, especially with the manual close.
