I’ve been noticing some weird distortions or glare along the edges of my Model X windshield, especially when I’m looking from a certain angle. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is it a common thing with Model X windshields, or am I just unlucky with a defective one?

From my experience with different vehicles, I noticed that most cars have some level of distortion in the windsheild and rear windows. Its usually less obvious when the glass is more upright. But with newer cars, where the glass is more slanted; its thicker and any imperfections can really stand out. If you get the chance, try hopping into some other Model X’s and see if this is a common issue across them.

Does that affect your driving experience in any way?

Not really while driving straight, but it can be distracting when I’m merging or checking for traffic at an angle. The glare especially gets annoying when the sun hits it just right. I wasn’t sure if it’s something I should just get used to or if it’s worth addressing with Tesla.
