I'm thinking about buying a Model X, but I'm worried about the lack of a 360-degree camera system. I've heard conflicting information about whether this feature will be added to future models. If a 360-degree camera isn't available, are there any good aftermarket options?

You don't need a 360-degree camera on a Model X. It has sensors and a good backup camera. You can also use Autopark.

I think that would be enough.

Aftermarket options like Falcon Zero, Bosch, and Garmin offer good solutions.

Man, I really wish the Model X had a 360-degree camera system. Backing in is a breeze thanks to the rear camera, but pulling out or maneuvering in tight spots is a real blind spot. This thing is huge, and the forward visibility just doesn't compare to the Model 3.
The sensors give you an idea of how close you are to something, but it's often hard to tell exactly what that 'something' is – a curb, a distant pole, you know? I'm sure Tesla will add 360 cameras eventually, but I wonder if there are any hardware limitations on existing cars that might prevent it.
