My practically brand new 2022 Model X got rear-ended back in March and it's still at the shop as of July. Tesla quoted for repairs but they're still waiting on a critical floor panel. Frustratingly, the estimated delivery date has changed over 10 times! Anyone else experience these delays with Tesla body repairs? Is this the norm, or am I just stuck in a service center.

It can be really crazy with Tesla sometimes, my wife's Model X was in the shop for months after some serious side damage. Tesla kept changing the delivery date for parts too, and it was frustrating. It seems like these delays are common with Tesla body repairs, especially for specific parts. Hang in there hopefully, it gets sorted soon.

So sorry buddy, I hope you get your Model X back soon, delays like that are so annoying, especially when you just want your car back on the road. 😩

Hey, just curious, does your insurance (or the other guy's insurance) cover a rental car? Mine covers it for up to 30 days, so I'm wondering what they would do in this situation.

I haven't heard anything about Tesla giving you a loaner, that would be pretty sweet though.

Ugh, that sounds frustrating! Dealing with those kinds of delays is the worst, especially with a brand new car. I know Tesla has been working on improving their repair process, but supply chain issues are still a problem. Keep in touch with the shop and reach out to Tesla support for updates. Hopefully, they can get it sorted out soon.
