Any ideas on where can I grab a USB drive (flash or SSD) for my dashcam? My MX keeps getting hit in parking lots, and I'm sick of shelling out for the deductible. Need more storage for vids so I can check what's going on when I park in public places.

You can use any modern USB drive, flash or SSD, for your dashcam. I grabbed a Samsung T7 SSD for mine, and it works great and has plenty of storage for those dashcam videos. Here is guide from on how to set it up: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/model3/en_us/GUID-F311BBCA-2532-4D04-B88C-DBA784ADEE21.html

Man, I went through a few USB drives and had nothing but trouble with each one. Finally, I got this tiny MicroSD card reader and a really good quality MicroSD card from my camera, and it's been working perfectly for months now. No more headaches!

Sorry to hear about the parking lot issues! For your dashcam, consider a Samsung T7 Portable SSD, SanDisk Extreme PRO, or a Lexar JumpDrive Tough. They're built for continuous writing. Get a drive with enough storage (64GB-256GB should be plenty). If your dashcam supports microSD cards, those are also a good option. Hope this helps!
